Don’t Be Afraid To Focus On The Negative Stress In Order To Heal It

focus on stress to heal it imageSome people think that focusing on the stress of an issue is wrong and can even be harmful but I tend to disagree.

Allowing yourself to focus on any stress you feel doesn’t reinforce the stress as many people think, it allows you to feel it so that you can get rid of it.

I have a friend who puts her fingers in her ears if we move onto the subject of illness, “I don’t want to surround myself with negative people and negative thoughts,” she says, as if her own illness will miraculously go away by focusing on something nice instead.

The trouble is, the problem will never go away. We can’t throw a bucket of love at ourselves and hope this will cleanse us. Love heals but we need to aim that love at something.

It’s also no point in just bringing up stress and doing nothing about it. That will just make things worse.

So, what can we do?

If focusing solely on the stress doesn’t help and throwing love at the issue also doesn’t help then why not combine the two. In science it has been proven that if you have two states the greater will cancel out the lesser. Love is greater than any stress or fear you may feel and will cancel it out allowing you to become symptom free.

First allow yourself to be ‘with’ your problem or issue, whether physical or mental. Ask yourself where you feel that stress, and give the stress a number on a scale between 0 and 10.

Feel that something or someone greater than you is going to help you with your issue. Perhaps a prayer or a thought that we give up trying to heal ourselves and give our problems to something or someone bigger than e.g. the universe, God or whatever you feel appropriate.

Focus on love and feel it in your heart. You don’t need to focus on the stress at the same time. Your energy system knows you are focusing on the issue. By focusing solely on love you cancel out the stress from the issue. Without the stress the issue goes away.

The stress won’t go away from just one session. If you keep doing the stress, prayer, love method the stress will begin to decrease and eventually disappear along with the issue.
