It is a true saying that ‘the heart knows’. It makes sense to work with someone who encourages us to work from the heart. The electrical impulse of the heart is 40 – 60 times stronger than that of the brain. In fact, it has the strongest electrical impulse in the body and can be measured a distance of at least three feet away from the body.
Our hearts are where our real feelings lie. When we are encouraged to talk logically about our problems we aren’t getting in touch with our true feelings. Our hearts don’t lie. When we enter the maze of thoughts and memories without engaging our hearts we get lost. Eventually we begin to go round and round in circles and our feelings get stirred up. If we don’t work from the heart then there is no release from these feelings. The heart sends more information to the brain than the brain sends to the heart.
There is great deal of research about the fact that the electricity generated by the heart can be found and even measured in the brain patterns of those sat nearby. If both client and therapist work from the heart then they will be in unison and will be working from a place of truth.
It has been proved that different people’s heart cells all beat in unison in a Petrie dish. On the other hand, different people’s brain cells will not communicate with each other and die.
If we want to dissolve any issue then we must let go of negative emotions by working from our hearts.
